This site is not an official National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) website, and the content contained herein does not necessarily represent the position of the NSDAR. The President General is the official spokesperson of NSDAR.

We are gathering information and conducting research for the content of this website.  In the meantime, you can help by being a part of the research.  You do not have to be a woman of color to participate.  Also, you do not need to have a patriot of color to participate.  We are looking for the following:

 

• Do you know DAR members of color and are able to help us get in contact with them?

• Are you a member of color of the DAR?  You do not need to have a patriot of color.

• Do you descend from a patriot of color who contributed to the American Revolution?  You do not need to be a woman of color.  

• Is your DAR chapter engaged in noteworthy projects that support communities of color?

• Do you have information to contribute about the history of women of color as it relates to the DAR?

• Do you have information that you feel may be of interest to Daughter Dialogues newsletter subscribers?  If so, submit a story for the Daughter Dialogues newsletter.  Examples include American Revolution patriots' descendants of color or patriots of color stories and related event announcements, books, etc.
